Nocturne by isuandrew Nocturne by isuandrew
Taken in downtown Chicago. I was trying to look at this from a unique perspective, and I think I succeeded.

i was recognizing that building.. all the leaves are off already!(i took infrared shots of those).
the lines are creating an interesting play here, but on the other side the space at the right is very dominating. the think the bending line above is crucial for reflecting what the building is based upon, but upon taking the shot it would be great to have more space between this curving line and the building. but that is just my opinion.

ill have to go through your other architectural shots too :)

Thank you very much for the comment. I would like to see some of your infrared shots of this in your gallery. I think it’s cool that we both took some pictures of some of the same stuff.

P.S. some of your fisheye shots are fricken unbelievable. Sorry it took me a while to reply.

Beautiful perspective here. Nice flow and the curving lines of the building. I love how well the sweeping line of the structure in the foreground works with the movement of the shot.

Thank you....... I like the way you described why this photo is aesthetically pleasing. I think I would like to see more of that on this site....... most people just say that they like it, but you did a great job of describing why.

Wow. Now I feel compelled to thank you for liking my comments. :) As an artist I find it rewarding to know people enjoy your art but it's so much more rewarding to hear how you could improve upon what you've done or to hear why other artists like your work.

Wow this is great, it looks like a wave of steel and light. Excellent composition, sweeping lines from left to right set horizontal motion, excellent color contrast.. i like the way the yellows of the lights in the building contrast the twilight in the sky, I kinda wish that tree wasn't there, but thats just being nit picky ;) excellent perspective. Great shot!

Thank you for your in-depth comment. I really appreciate a detailed comment every once and a while, so thanks.

And youíre not being nit picky about the tree being there, I hate it too. I should have cut it down before I took the picture. =D Oh well, Iíll have to redo it if I ever get a chance.

The composition was just perfect when I first saw it and I knew right away how to take it.

Thank you again for a great comment. It was a fresh breath of air for me.

You look like you need a lens or sensor cleaning. Cool angle though, the picture looks like it's been drawn.

Thank you, yeah I think that there are two spots on the lens, I've never cleaned the lens either. Should I only use a special lens cloth to clean it?
